Mithravrinda Volleyball Academy

With us, children from socio-economically weaker sections learn essential life skills i.e, leadership, teamwork etc, through sports sessions, camps & also learn to participate in various tournaments.

Mithravrinda Volleyball & Sports Academy, located in Puttur, D. K. Karnataka, is registered as a charitable trust. It was established in the 1970s in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka, under the leadership of the Late Sri P. V. K. Vaidyar and the Late Sri Vittal Rai Derla. The academy's teams have earned numerous accolades, recognition, and popularity over the years, led by Mr. Krishnan P. V. comprising his brothers and friends who have actively participated in various local, state, and national-level volleyball tournaments, Since 1980, Mr. P. V. Free Summer Volleyball Coaching Camp

Our NGO organized a free summer volleyball coaching camp which commenced on April 21st. The official inauguration, originally scheduled but delayed due to the general election, took place on May 3rd. The camp is scheduled to continue until May 20th.

Empowering Youths by Sports

The trust aims to nurture volleyball teams at grassroots levels by empowering rural youth and promoting their mass participation in sports. We strive to enhance sports excellence by supporting talented players at national and international levels and using sports for community development. Additionally, we organize tournaments and recognize achievements while providing facilities for sports education and welfare. Committed to grooming talents across disciplines, the trust seeks to establish an international-level sports complex.
